This Privacy Policy explains how [Company / Publisher Name] handles information when you use the Altayebaat app and this website (together, the “Service”). Altayebaat provides food guidance only and does not collect health, medical, or diagnostic data.
1. Information we collect
You provide
- Account details — email, and a display name/avatar if you set one. Sign-in via email, Google, or Apple. Guest browsing is supported.
- Content you create — saved foods, plans, check-ins, family profiles, comments, ratings, meal posts, and dua/gratitude notes.
- Ingredient photos — images you submit to the scan feature, used solely to identify food ingredients (see Section 4).
Collected automatically
- Usage & device data — basic diagnostics and a per-day counter of AI actions (fair-use limits).
- Subscription status — whether you hold an active trial/subscription.
Most of the core experience runs on your device, offline, and does not send your activity to us.
2. How we use information
- To provide and sync your account, content, and community features.
- To run the two AI features and enforce fair-use limits.
- To manage subscriptions, trials, and billing.
- To keep the community safe (moderation, blocking, reporting).
- To diagnose problems and improve the Service.
3. Service providers
We share the minimum necessary data with providers that process it on our behalf:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and storage.
- RevenueCat and the App Store / Google Play — subscriptions and billing. We don't receive your full card details.
- AI processing provider — receives the scan image or plan preferences; restricted to food classification only.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — optional push notifications.
4. Ingredient photos
Scan images are used only to detect food ingredients. Saved scans are stored to your account for free re-viewing.
5. Community content
Public content passes automated moderation before publication. You can delete your own content and block other users.
6. Children & family profiles
The Service is for adults. An adult account holder manages family profiles; children should not create their own accounts.
7. Data retention & deletion
We keep data while your account is active. Email privacy@altayebaat.app to delete your account. Local data is removed on uninstall.
8. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may access, correct, export, or delete your data, and withdraw consent.
9. Security
We use access controls (row-level security) and encryption in transit. No method is perfectly secure.
10. International transfers
Your information may be processed in other countries where our providers operate, with appropriate safeguards.
11. Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the date; material changes get in-app notice.
