You can ask us to permanently delete your account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to request deletion
Send an email to support@altayebaat.app from the email address registered to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”.
If you used a Google or Apple sign-in, email us from that same address, or include the email shown on your Altayebaat profile.
We will verify the request and delete your account. Requests are processed within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your profile (display name, avatar, preferences)
- Your email address and login credentials
- Your saved lists and favourites
- Your weekly meal plans (private and published)
- Your comments, reviews, likes, and shared community content
- Your food submissions and reports
- Your ingredient scan history and uploaded photos
- Your daily check-ins, habits, streaks, and reminders
- Your family/household profiles you created
- Your block list and moderation records tied to your account
What data may be retained
- Purchase/subscription records required for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal compliance may be retained by Google Play and our payment processor (RevenueCat) for the period required by law. These are not used to identify you within the app after deletion.
- Anonymized, aggregated data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained for analytics.
- Records we are legally required to keep are retained only for the legally mandated period, then deleted.
